In the video, NewJeans members are seen laughing joyfully and expressing their happiness with finger heart gestures after receiving a cake and a doll from Jennie. The doll, shaped like a tree and altered to speak, plays a message of thanks from the NewJeans members, “Thank you, Jennie sunbaenim,” which brought out warm smiles from fans.
The cake Jennie gifted was a special high-heel design made to celebrate her solo release, “Mantra,” and will be available for purchase at a pop-up store opening on November 28.
Fans are cheering on the close friendship between NewJeans and Jennie.
Meanwhile, Jennie released her new digital single “Mantra” on October 11. The song conveys an empowering message for all women to shine in their own way and confidently express their unique charms, a fitting message for both BLACKPINK and NewJeans as they continue to make their mark in the K-pop world.
