On September 25, photos of Minji, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein were uploaded on NewJeans‘ official channel, excluding Hanni, sparking curiosity.

However, it was later revealed that the photos were taken during a recent NewJeans internal content shoot, which Hanni could not attend due to health reasons, resulting in only the remaining 4 members appearing in the photos.

Previously on September 11, NewJeans surprised fans by holding an emergency live broadcast on their YouTube channel, demanding that HYBE restore Min Hee-jin to her position as CEO of ADOR. The members expressed their desire to return to the original ADOR, where Min Hee-jin integrated both management and production. They gave HYBE a final deadline of September 25 for Min Hee-jin’s reinstatement, drawing significant attention.

On September 25, HYBE announced that Min Hee-jin’s reinstatement as CEO would not be possible. Earlier that day, Minji had shared a message with fans on the communication platform Phoning, saying, “Seeing Bunnies (fandom of NewJeans) always gives me strength. Take care of yourselves and fill your thoughts with good things! Bye,” leading to various speculations.

On the same day, Hanni also conveyed her heartfelt thoughts, saying, “Our Bunnies are really strong. I’m so lucky to have people like you by my side. I’ve been thinking this a lot lately, and if I don’t tell you, you wouldn’t know that I’m feeling this way.”

Nevertheless, on September 25, NewJeans’ official channel uploaded photos featuring only Minji, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, while recent posts related to Hanni have only been about advertisements and photo shoots. With NewJeans navigating various issues, attention is drawn to the current status of the group as a four-member unit.

With the new clarification, however, fans’ worries have been somewhat assuaged.
