For groups from smaller companies, reaching these milestones is an even bigger accomplishment, given the limited resources and opportunities compared to those in larger agencies.

Recently, a “nugu” group from a small company hit their 6th anniversary, sparking interest.

Back in 2018, iMe KOREA generated buzz with plans to debut a girl group, tentatively named iMe Girls. By July 2018, the group’s name was officially revealed as DreamNote, and in November 2018, they debuted with the album “Dreamlike”.

The following year, the group experienced lineup changes as members Habin and Hanbyeol left. In 2020, DreamNote turned to crowdfunding through Makestar to support their third single album “Dream Wish”, with fans helping fund both the album and the group’s promotions.

After this, their releases slowed, with two single albums in 2021 and 2023.

In October 2024, DreamNote released their first Japanese single album, followed by a Korean version. November 7th, 2024 marked their sixth debut anniversary.

Fans have been amazed by the group’s endurance, especially for a “nugu” group, and celebrated the special occasion.
