As OH MY GIRL celebrates their 10th anniversary, major updates surrounding the members’ contracts and future activities have been confirmed.
On May 8, WM Entertainment officially announced that four members—Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yubin—have renewed their contracts with the agency. The agency expressed gratitude for the trust built over the past decade, noting this is their second renewal following one in 2022.
In contrast, YooA and Arin have opted not to renew their individual exclusive contracts. However, WM clarified that both members will remain part of OH MY GIRL and continue group activities.
WM Entertainment stated, “We sincerely thank YooA and Arin for their journey over the past 10 years, and we root for their upcoming solo endeavors. At the same time, we will continue to actively support re-signed members in both group and individual projects.”
YooA also shared a touching handwritten letter with fans, expressing her deep love for the group and promising her continued efforts as part of OH MY GIRL.
“Even 10, 20 years from now, I will continue to give my best for OH MY GIRL,” she wrote.
She revealed she had recently completed filming a new project in the acting field and felt excited to express herself in new ways as an actress.
“I will proudly embrace the title of ‘actress YooA’ and show you more diverse sides of myself. Please continue supporting me.”
While she will continue her group activities with WM, her acting career will be managed under a new agency. YooA closed her letter with heartfelt thanks to the fans, her fellow members, and the WM staff, adding:
“I could receive so much love because you all supported me. I’ll always be here, as the same YooA you’ve loved.”
OH MY GIRL debuted in April 2015 and rose to fame with hits like Nonstop, Dolphin, and Dun Dun Dance. The group’s strong bond, even amid individual changes, has resonated with fans for years.
