Chae Soo-bin, Nana, and Jisoo breathe life into characters who defy the trope of damsels in distress, instead emerging as complex, battle-hardened heroines.
Chae Soo-bin as Yoo Sang-ah: The Supportive Strategist
Yoo Sang-ah, played by Chae Soo-bin, is a grounded, intelligent office worker in the real world who transforms into a healing force in a collapsing, fictional universe.

Her character is known for her calm logic and emotional warmth, using silken threads as both weapons and tools to restore broken paths. Chae Soo-bin revealed, “Sang-ah helps others stand tall—that’s her charm. I took time to thoroughly train at action school to prepare for the role.”
Nana as Jung Hee-won: The Righteous Avenger
Bringing electrifying intensity to the role of Jung Hee-won, Nana delivers some of the film’s most visually arresting fight scenes. Armed with dual daggers and an iron will, Hee-won channels justice into every blow, proving a vital ally to protagonist Kim Dok-ja.

Nana trained for over four months to master her movements. “This was my first time wielding daggers. I worked on blending fluidity with power,” she said. Energized by the challenge, she added, “I even thought maybe I want to become an action star.”
Jisoo as Lee Ji-hye: The Reluctant Ally
Jisoo takes on the role of Lee Ji-hye, a fierce high schooler who calls protagonist Yoo Joong-hyuk her “master.” Initially refusing to join Kim Dok-ja’s team, her timely reappearances and raw strength leave an undeniable mark.

“It was my first time doing so much action,” Jisoo shared. “I kept training to make the movements feel real.” Ji-hye’s complex dynamic with the main characters adds a layer of emotional weight to the film.
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, based on a long-running web novel, depicts a universe where fiction becomes terrifying reality. With stunning visuals, deep lore, and now, three powerful female leads, the film promises a gripping cinematic experience that redefines female presence in Korean action cinema.
