Osaka Ojo Gang Falls to Motiv in Shocking Loss on “World Street Woman Fighter” K-pop Mission

Aired on the evening of June 17, the latest episode of Mnet’s World Street Woman Fighter featured the ‘World of K-pop’ mission, where crews battled in pairs using tracks by G-Dragon, Jennie, and aespa. Osaka Ojo Gang and Motiv took the stage with a performance to G-Dragon’s song.
During rehearsals, Osaka Ojo Gang stumbled through Motiv’s complex breaking choreography and committed a few noticeable mistakes, raising concerns. Motiv, on the other hand, struggled to grasp the nuances of K-pop style but ultimately delivered a solid performance on stage.

After their dance videos were released, both teams received a tie score from the fight judges and identical points from the class mission. The deciding factor came down to the global audience evaluation.
Despite Osaka Ojo Gang garnering more views, Motiv scored higher in ‘likes’, clinching the win and sending the Japanese crew home in a stunning turn of events.
The mission was judged by Ashley Everett, Beyoncé’s lead backup dancer, and Baek Gu-young, choreographer from 1MILLION Dance Studio, alongside fight judge Mike Song, adding credibility and intensity to the evaluation process.
‘World Street Woman Fighter’ airs every Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST on Mnet.
