The first guest of the show was No Young-shim, the original MC of No Young-shim’s “Small Music Concert,” which marked the beginning of KBS’s music talk show legacy. No Young-shim first took the stage 33 years ago. She reunited with Park Bo-gum as the past and present MCs. Together, they delivered a special duet performance.

Park Bo-gum introduced the song “Photo Album,” revealing, “IU recommended this song to me while filming When Life Gives You Tangerines. If I had the ability to write lyrics, I’d want to write something like this.”

As he sang “Photo Album,” which features lyrics written as a conversation between a mother and child, Park Bo-gum grew visibly emotional. Performing the duet with No Young-shim, he held back tears but continued singing until the very end, deeply moving the audience.

After the performance, Park Bo-gum shared, “Thinking about my loved ones, I realize how important it is to take more photos with them. This song reminded me to cherish the present moment.” His attempt to hold back tears only added to the emotional weight of the moment.

This reaction resonated even more due to a past moment from “Youth Over Flowers: Africa.” During the show, a clip from Park Bo-gum’s Reply 1988 audition was aired, where he was asked, “Are you affectionate with your parents? Do you share everything about your day with them?” To which he emotionally responded, “Yes, I am affectionate.”

During the audition, Park Bo-gum performed a scene from “Reply 1994.” He portrayed a heartfelt conversation between Chilbong (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) and his mother. The scene overwhelmed him with emotion, causing him to cry.

In an interview with the production team at the time, Park Bo-gum revealed, “My mother passed away when I was in fourth grade. Looking back, I realized we never had a proper family photo together. Those moments are all memories now.” He couldn’t hold back his tears, revealing a heartbreaking chapter of his life.
