Park Bo-young’s “Twin” Revealed: Meet the Hidden Hero Behind “Our Unwritten Seoul”
On June 26, actress Han Yoo-eun revealed herself as Park Bo-young’s double in the tvN drama Our Unwritten Seoul by sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the filming on her personal social media.
Park Bo-young plays twin sisters Mi-ji and Mi-rae, who lead vastly different lives and have contrasting personalities. Her seamless dual-role performance has garnered much praise. Han Yoo-eun played a key behind-the-scenes role, serving as Park’s body double in scenes involving the twins, helping maintain continuity and emotional connection.
Born in 1997, Han Yoo-eun is a rising actress who graduated from Seoul Institute of the Arts with a degree in acting. She played the lead role of Yeon-hee in the 2023 film The River of Wrath, and also holds a professional boxing license—an unexpected twist in her career.
As Our Unwritten Seoul approaches its finale on June 29, Han Yoo-eun shared heartfelt reflections alongside on-set photos with Park Bo-young. Notably, in final scenes, CGI was used to create the illusion of both twins on screen, though it was Han who physically acted opposite Park.
Han expressed her gratitude toward Park, writing,
“On cold days, she would offer me her tumbler and hand warmers, and even gave up her chair for me… Bo-young sunbaenim always took care of me behind the scenes. I’m truly thankful for her warmth and kindness.”
She added,
“I will never forget the warmth you showed me!! It was an honor to work alongside you as Mi-ji and Mi-rae. I was so happy to be part of it.”
