Park Shin-hye “No Starving Diets When Filming Dramas, I Work Out for 3 Hours a Day”

On April 1, a video featuring Park Shin-hye was uploaded to the official YouTube channel of Allure Korea.
Park Shin-hye appeared in the “Beauty Talk” segment. She said, “This year marks my 22nd year since debut. When I’m taking a break, I relax as much as I want, but when I start working, I work out a lot. That’s a routine I established.”

She added, “It hasn’t been long since I came back to Korea. I stayed abroad for a month and a half. I got some rest and I’m preparing for my next work.”
Park Shin-hye also shared part of her daily wellness routine, “These days, I drink lukewarm water every morning. It improves blood circulation and wakes my body better. I take a turn around the park or go to the gym and work out from an hour and a half to two hours every day.”

When it comes to dieting, Park Shin-hye revealed she prefers exercise over restricting food, “I try to watch what I eat, but since I love eating, it’s not easy. When I get ready to film a drama, since controlling what I eat is really hard, I do cardio exercise on an empty stomach for an hour in the morning and get personal training in the evening for an hour, then do another hour of cardio exercise. I worked out at least three hours a day.”

She emphasized, “I never starve myself when I’m on a diet because it’s really bad on your skin tissue and also skin elasticity. I always have protein and vegetables.”
Regarding her reputation as the quintessential “baby-faced beauty”, Park Shin-hye commented, “I didn’t take care of myself that much when I was in my 20s, but turning 30, I realized that I needed to. I do many home care and also go to the dermatology. I take care of myself now.”
Meanwhile, after successfully wrapping up “The Judge from Hell” last year, Park Shin-hye is set to meet global fans through her Asia tour starting this May.
