Lisa of BLACKPINK will be performing solo for a charity concert in France in late January next year
It is reported that BLACKPINK’s Lisa will take the stage at the charity concert Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes (The Gala of the Yellow Pieces) scheduled for January 26, 2024, at Accor Arena in Paris, France.
Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes is an event hosted by the France Hospital Foundation, chaired by Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron. The foundation aims to improve the environment of children’s hospitals by collecting coins smaller than 1 euro over a month. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated.
Lisa previously decorated the finale of the same concert with BLACKPINK’s full lineup in January 2023. With Lisa being invited as a solo artist this time, global fans are paying keen attention.
This raises interest in when Lisa and BLACKPINK will resume activities in Korea. Recently, BLACKPINK announced the renewal of their contract with YG Entertainment, though this is only for group activities while individual activities will be pursued separately.
Jennie previously announced the establishment of her own label, and Lisa is also likely to pursue individual activities in collaboration with overseas agencies.
Previously, there were many rumors that Lisa had left Korea and settled in France. It is known that she brought her dog to Paris and often immediately returned to France after completing her schedule abroad. For example, after completing a state dinner in the UK, Lisa didn’t return to Korea with the other three members of BLACKPINK but immediately flew to France. Many believe that she will soon marry her rumored boyfriend.
