Photography Studio Behind Ok Taecyeon’s Couple Photoshoot Apologizes “We Didn’t Know He’s a Celebrity”

On February 6, a photography studio that operates in Paris, France posted a lengthy statement on its official social media account, explaining and apologizing for releasing photos of the Ok Taecyeon couple.

The studio stated, “We took the photos last year without knowing who they were. We had no intention of exposing their private lives. Until yesterday, we were unaware that he’s a famous figure in Korea. They booked the session as regular clients and did not request that the photos remain private. As we always do, we shared the photos, starting from April 2024. At the time of publication, we did not mention his name.”

The recently leaked couple photos showed Ok Taecyeon kneeling and presenting a ring to his non-celebrity girlfriend, leading to speculation about an upcoming wedding.

The photography studio added, “We were surprised and shocked by this situation. We have already apologized to Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend, and we also extend our public apology. We never intended to expose their relationship or his girlfriend’s face. As soon as we learned what had happened, we immediately took the photos down, but by then, they had already been widely shared. We never sent these photos to anyone, nor will we ever do so. Please respect this. If clients don’t inform us, we have no way of knowing whether someone is famous in their home country. We sincerely apologize for this unintentional disclosure.”

Meanwhile, Ok Taecyeon confirmed his relationship with his non-celebrity girlfriend in June 2020, and the couple has been publicly dating for five years. The couple photos taken in April last year were reportedly for his girlfriend’s birthday celebration. Ok Taecyeon’s agency 51K responded to the marriage rumors by stating, “There are no marriage plans yet.”
