Police “Completed Investigation of HYBE + Summoning Min Hee-jin’s Side This Week”

At a regular press conference on June 17th, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Jo Ji-ho said, “We have completed questioning the accuser (HYBE), and they submitted additional materials last week.“
HYBE has filed charges of breach of duty against CEO Min Hee-jin and the vice president of ADOR along with another person.
The police, who are investigating the case, stated, “The analysis of the additional materials is nearly complete, and we plan to summon the accused for questioning starting this week. Among the three people accused, Min Hee-jin will not be summoned this week, but one of the other two will likely appear.”

Regarding the possibility of a search and seizure, the police said, “Compulsory investigation is carried out if voluntary cooperation is insufficient. Currently, the cooperation is good, so the investigation is proceeding adequately with the submission of materials and testimony.”
HYBE began an audit after identifying signs that Min Hee-jin and other ADOR executives attempted to seize management rights. On April 26th, they filed a police report against Min Hee-jin and other ADOR executives for breach of duty at the Seoul Yongsan Police Station.
HYBE, holding an 80% stake in ADOR, filed a lawsuit seeking to convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to remove Min Hee-jin. In response, Min Hee-jin filed an injunction to prevent HYBE from exercising voting rights at the extraordinary general meeting. The court granted the injunction on May 30th, allowing Min Hee-jin to maintain her position as CEO.
Min Hee-jin has held two emergency press conferences to express her grievances.
