A controversy has erupted over leaked bed photos of Gaku Kawashita (23), the oldest member of the nine-member idol group “AmBitious” (formerly Kansai Juniors).
On the 4th (local time), the foreign media outlet “Friday” reported that photos of Gaku Kawashita sleeping in the same bed with a mysterious woman had been leaked.
According to the report, several photos of Kawashita sleeping and screenshots of messages he exchanged with women were recently leaked on social networking services and online communities, sparking the controversy. It was revealed that he was having affairs with multiple women, which is likely to negatively impact the group’s future activities.
The leaked content disclosed that while Kawashita was sending concerned messages to his girlfriend at the time of her mother’s passing last year, he was simultaneously involved with other women.
During his encounters with multiple women, Kawashita was reportedly very busy as AmBitious was transitioning to an eight-member formation and preparing for their first solo live performance. Fans are in shock over Kawashita Gaku’s scandal, adding to their anxiety following the series of incidents this year, including Koshiba Riku’s controversy. Earlier in January, popular team member Koshiba Riku (21) was embroiled in a scandal when photos of him drinking alcohol and smoking as a minor surfaced online. Although he announced an indefinite hiatus for self-reflection, he eventually left the group and is currently known to be active as a YouTuber.
