Lee Chung Ah (born October 29, 1984) was born in Ansan, Gyeonggi, South Korea. She graduated from Hanyang University (Department of Theater and Film) and is currently an actress under KINGS Entertainment.
Lee Chung Ah started acting with the supporting roles in “Resurrection of the Little Match Girl” in 2002 and “Happy Ero Christmas” in 2003. She got her lead role in “Temptation of Wolves” in 2004 – a classic movie project at the time – starring Jo Han Sun and Kang Dong Won. Nonetheless, after the movie’s release, only Kang Dong Won was shot to stardom and enjoyed an elevated status, while Lee Chung Ah remained where she was. Nonetheless, compared to her image from 19 years ago, actress Lee never seems to age a day; she still boasts a youthful visual and only changes her makeup style.

In 2005, actress Lee got her first TV series lead role in “Let’s Go to the Beach”, along with some other projects, but struggled to secure a place within the map of major entertainers in the Korean entertainment industry. She had her first taste of success with “Flower Boy Ramen Shop” and received pan-Asian stardom. However, compared to other actresses of the same age, she was not quite at a satisfying spot in life.

In 2019, the actress gained widespread popularity as a supporting character in “VIP” starring Jang Na Ra. However, after “VIP,” the actress rarely takes on new projects.
“Flower Boy Ramen Shop” has a special meaning for Lee Chung Ah as she found both fame and love in it. Lee Chung Ah and Lee Ki Woo announced dating in 2013 and lived in the same street at the time. The public was happy for the couple as neither of them were getting into any scandals.

However, after 5 years, in 2018, there was news stating that the couple broke up, but their respective agencies denied the rumors. Yet, in mid-2019, the actors’ management companies announced they had been friends for one year and explained that the announcement came out late because too many audiences cared and loved the actors. Since then, Lee Chung Ah did not go public with anyone.
Lee Chung Ah reunited with actress Kim Sun-a from Happy Ero Christmas in the 2013 revenge horror film The Five. Later that year, she appeared in Wonderful Mama. In 2019, Lee Chung Ah made her return to the small screen with the mystery office drama VIP. In 2020, she starred in two films: Hello Dracula and Awaken. In 2022, she participated in One Thousand Won Lawyer, and in 2023, she appeared in a supporting role in Celebrity before joining My Dearest, marking her third reunion with actor Namkoong Min. In 2024, Lee Chung Ah completed her role in the film Hide, alongside Lee Bo Young.
