“Queen of Tears” Kim Soo-hyun – Kim Ji-won reveal wedding behind-the-scenes “Look at each other’s faces twice”
On April 19th, a video titled “This Time it’s Yongdu-ri! Set Tour with Queens family & Yongdu-ri family (feat. Heartwarming Big Family Vibe)” was released on the tvN drama channel.
In the video, Kwak Dong-yeon took on the role of MC and led a tour of the set of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Queen of Tears” at Hyun-woo’s Yongdu-ri house. Approaching the actors gathered on the set, Kwak Dong-yeon said “I heard there’s something nice about this house“, to which Kim Soo-hyun replied, “You came to see the house?“
Jeon Bae-soo then introduced various locations on the set. While introducing Baek Du-gwan (played by Jeon Bae-soo) and Jeon Bong-ae (played by Hwang Young-hee)’s room filled with various props, Jeon Bae-soo mentioned that the background in Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun)’s Seoul National University graduation photo was Photoshop.
In Hyun-woo’s room, trophies filled the bookshelf. When Hyun-woo’s child actor photo was revealed, Kwak Dong-yeon asked, “Can’t he still be a high school student?” Kim Soo-hyun replied, “The school uniform might look a bit awkward.” Jeon Bae-soo said, “There were a lot more certificates here, but we removed many of them.“
When the group photo of Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won)’s wedding, depicted as the wedding of the century, was revealed, Kim Soo-hyun asked, “When is this time? Is it April?” The wedding date in the drama was May 2nd, 2020, and the filming took place on a sunny day in June.
Looking at the picturesque wedding photos of Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in, Kim Soo-hyun recalled, “Did we look at each other’s faces twice at this time?” When asked if she remembered the situation when the wedding photos were taken, Kim Ji-won replied, “They were taken at the beginning of the shoot. At that time, Hyun-woo and I were a bit awkward.“
When Kwak Dong-yeon joked “Hyun-woo has become closer and more comfortable since then“, Kim Ji-won quickly changed her attitude and said, “I think so too.”
