On May 27, a new episode titled “HiFive When We Meet (feat. Ra Mi-ran, Lee Jae-in)” was uploaded to YouTube channel VIVO TV, featuring actresses Ra Mi-ran and Lee Jae-in, stars of the upcoming action-comedy film HiFive, scheduled for release on May 30.

Ra Mi-ran surprised fans with her noticeably slimmer appearance during the broadcast. When host Song Eun-i jokingly offered her a sunny seat, saying, “It might feel a bit warm on your back,” Ra Mi-ran replied with her trademark wit, “I’ve been feeling cold a lot lately. With so much fat gone, I get chilly.”

When asked how much weight she had lost, Ra Mi-ran candidly answered, “About 13kg. Recently, I keep hearing, ‘You look prettier’ and ‘Your skin looks great.'”

The day prior, Ra Mi-ran appeared on Kim Sook TV, revealing she had lost 13kg over 14 months through a dedicated diet regimen. Though the details weren’t elaborated, her transformation follows a kidney transplant, a significant health event subtly referenced through show titles and comments. Her honest and humorous take on the weight loss journey, including jokes about being cold due to reduced body fat, showcased her down-to-earth personality, resonating with fans.
