‘Reborn Rich’ Season 2 in Development With Artist Group, Lee Jung-jae Takes the Lead?

On May 8, entertainment company Artist Group, where Lee Jung-jae serves as a major shareholder, confirmed that it has begun planning and developing Season 2 of Reborn Rich in partnership with production entities.
According to the announcement, Season 2 will expand beyond Korean conglomerates to explore the world of global business empires.

“This will be a strategic content project aimed at international audiences,” said a representative from Artist Company, adding that the story and characters are being developed to emotionally resonate with viewers worldwide.
Season 2 promises a completely new scale, with fresh characters, international settings, and a narrative focused on power, success, and love in a high-stakes global context.
The first season of Reborn Rich, which aired on JTBC in 2022, achieved a staggering peak viewership of 26.9%, becoming a cultural phenomenon. The story followed Yoon Hyun-woo (played by Song Joong-ki), a loyal secretary who is betrayed and murdered—only to be reborn as Jin Do-joon, the youngest son of the chaebol family he once served. His second life becomes a thrilling journey of revenge and ambition.

Thanks to the gripping plot and stellar performances by Song Joong-ki and Lee Sung-min, the drama’s success extended far beyond Korea. However, with this new production comes the burning question: Will Song Joong-ki return?
As of now, casting decisions and detailed schedules for Season 2 have not been announced.
Artist Group teased that the upcoming season will feature “fresh casting and a high-quality script” to match the newly expanded universe.
