Refund Sisters Reunion: Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Hyori Shine at Kim Jong-min’s Wedding

On April 21, Uhm Jung-hwa shared snapshots from the wedding held a day earlier, where she reunited with fellow celebrities Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Hyori, and Hwasa. The heartwarming moment was a rare off-stage gathering of members from the popular “Refund Sisters” project group and “Dancing Queens on the Road” variety show.

Formed in 2020 through MBC’s hit variety show “Hangout with Yoo,” Refund Sisters was a one-time project girl group made up of legendary and charismatic female performers: Uhm Jung-hwa (as “Man Ok”), Lee Hyori (“Chun Ok”), Jessi (“Eun Bi”), and Hwasa (“Sil Bi”). Yoo Jae-suk played their fictional manager “Jimmy Yoo,” who guided the team in a tongue-in-cheek parody of the K-pop industry.
Despite being a temporary group, Refund Sisters received immense attention, with their debut track “Don’t Touch Me” topping music charts and becoming a cultural moment.

At Kim Jong-min’s wedding, the members’ fashion also garnered praise. Lee Hyori wore a bright yellow see-through skirt fit for spring, Hwasa donned a chic all-black outfit to keep the spotlight on the bride, and Uhm Jung-hwa chose a beige blouse paired with a dark tailored suit for a classic and elegant look.
Yoo Jae-suk hosted the first part of the wedding ceremony as MC, bringing his signature humor and warmth. Meanwhile, Uhm Jung-hwa and Kim Jong-min share a long-standing friendship dating back to when Kim Jong-min worked as her backup dancer during his early “V-Man” era.

This mini-reunion of the Refund Sisters and their producer Jimmy Yoo delighted fans, serving as a nostalgic reminder of one of the most memorable collaborations in Korean variety show history—highlighting the deep friendships and respect these entertainers continue to share offstage.
