“Reply 1988” Dad Sung Dong-il Envied Hyeri’s Parents As She Bought Them A House, “I hope my children grow up like you”

Actor Sung Dong-il, who recently returned with the movie “Hijacking,” appeared as a guest in the latest episode of Hyeri’s YouTube show “Hell’s club,” which was posted on her channel on June 21.

In this video, Hyeri and Sung Dong-il recalled the days of filming “Reply 1988” together. “How are you living these days? You’ve changed a lot compared to before. You’ve lost all your baby fat now,” asked Sung, and Hyeri replied, “I was only 21 years old then.” Sung responded, “Yeah, you were young. Didn’t director Shin Won-ho teased you about having baby fat on your face? I think you lost a lot of weight now.”

Then, Hyeri asked about his first impression of her. Sung Dong-il said, “You were just normal. You have round eyes. But I really like you.” He also shared one day Hyeri told him, “Dad, I bought my parents a house. It’s so nice. I really wanted to tell you,” adding, “She is such a good kid. I probably told you that. I hope my kids grow up like you.“

Recalling the memory of “Reply 1988,” Hyeri also said, “This reminds me of that. When we filmed (Reply 1988), I ate beef sashimi for the first time thanks to you. There were two large plastic containers. I ate the whole container. It was so delicious.“
