Recently, the official SNS account of boy group RIIZE released a video titled “RIIZE ‘Impossible’ AI Generated Visualizer”. Just like the name, the visualizer video was generated by AI, leading to heavy criticisms.
In particular, AI-generated “art” has been a controversial technology use ever since its release. As the AI in question uses artworks as “learning material” without the artists’ consent, and is known to have taken away jobs from real artists, it has faced immense protests from the artist community.
As a result, the reactions towards RIIZE’s video, which utilizes such a controversial technology, have also been negative. So far, numerous criticisms have poured out on the SNS platform X, most of them demeaning SM.
