Rosé Earns 13.3 Billion KRW from “APT.” – Fans Amused by Her Humble Response

BLACKPINK’s Rosé (BlackPink) continues to demonstrate her global influence, with her solo track “APT.” becoming a major topic once again due to its impressive success and a series of charming fan interactions.
A recent post on an online community titled “Baby Rosé Going Viral in Thailand” featured a video from an event held last December at Central World in Bangkok. The footage shows a young child enthusiastically singing along to Rosé’s “APT.” while holding a microphone nearly as big as themselves. Despite some playful mispronunciations, the child’s delivery of the word “apartment” was strikingly clear, delighting viewers.

Netizens responded warmly:
- “That rhythm is spot on!”
- “All babies are cute, but this one’s got talent.”
- “Future singer for sure!”
- “Even adults can’t match the timing this is impressive.”
An older viral video often referred to as the “APT. Possession Clip” has also resurfaced. In it, a young boy repeatedly sings “APT.” in the early morning, waking his parents. His mother humorously commented online: “Rosé-nim… Bruno Mars-nim… please save us. My son sings ‘APT.’ all day long, from the moment he wakes up until he goes to sleep. I’m worried he’ll ask me to buy an actual apartment soon.”

To this, Rosé personally replied, “Oh no… I’m so sorry, ma’am…” a light-hearted response that quickly went viral and further endeared her to fans.
Meanwhile, the song itself continues to make history. Released in October last year, “APT.” has now charted for 29 consecutive weeks on Billboard’s main chart, the Hot 100, as of the update on May 13 (local time), maintaining its position at No. 20 from the previous week. It previously reached a peak position of No. 3, marking the highest rank ever achieved by a K-pop female solo artist.

From record-breaking achievements to endearing fan interactions, Rosé proves time and again why she remains one of K-pop’s most beloved and influential solo artists.
