BlackPink Rosé, appeared on JTBC’s Newsroom on December 1st and revealed behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the music video for her duet song APT. with Bruno Mars, which has gained massive popularity.
On the Korean Flag Scene
Rosé shared the story behind the scene where Bruno Mars waves a Korean flag in the video:
“One day, Bruno was laughing and said, ‘What if I wave the Korean flag like this? It’ll be so fun!’ I told him, ‘Our people would love that.’ And then he actually brought one. He said he bought the flag during his tour, just to include it in the video.”
The Kiss Scene
When asked about the playful kiss scene in the video, Rosé laughed and revealed:
“There’s a bit of a backstory to that. I said, ‘Why do I have to do it?’ There’s behind-the-scenes footage of me complaining, saying, ‘Why me?’ But he said it would look even weirder if he did it. And I thought, ‘Yeah, that would be a bit strange,’ so I went along with it.”
