Rowoon to Enlist in Military on July 21 After Disney+ Drama “The Murky Stream”
Actor and former SF9 member Rowoon will begin his mandatory military service on July 21, according to a statement from his agency, FNC Entertainment, to SPOTV News.
Rowoon will enter a basic training center, where he will undergo several weeks of military training before being assigned to his unit as an active-duty soldier in the Republic of Korea Army.
Rowoon, who debuted in 2016 as a member of K-pop boy group SF9, quickly rose to fame thanks to his tall physique, striking visuals, and charming presence. In 2023, he officially departed from the group to focus entirely on his acting career.
He began acting in 2017 with a supporting role in School 2017, and has since taken on a number of prominent lead roles in hit dramas such as:
