Chinese media consistently raises questions about the relationship between Lisa and Frédéric Arnault
After BLACKPINK Lisa’s Weibo account was deleted due to her controversial Crazy Horse show, Chinese media outlets continued to post rumors about the relationship between Lisa and her billionaire heir rumored boyfriend Frédéric Arnault.
Recently, when announcing the Q3 business results, LVMH, the fashion and business conglomerate of the Arnault family, reported a 9% increase in revenue.
In November, when Lisa had two international brands delete her advertising photos in China, authorities took action to blacklist Lisa for her performance at Crazy Horse. This reportedly changed everything.
According to Sohu, Frédéric Arnault recently had a business trip to Shanghai, China. When questioned by the media about Lisa, Frédéric Arnault only smiled and refused to answer about Lisa being blacklisted in China.
“Frédéric Arnault wants to leverage his relationship with Lisa to boost business in Asia. When Lisais blacklisted in the Chinese market, their relationship faces obstacles,” Sohu claimed.
November 7th is Frédéric Arnault’s birthday, but there were no social media posts showing Lisa going to France to celebrate her boyfriend’s birthday. Therefore, the media continuously speculates that the two have broken up.
Lisa was very popular in China. Her Weibo account had over 8 million followers, but it has now been deleted.
Being erased from Chinese social media can greatly affect Lisa’s career. Chinese media also believes that this has a significant impact on the relationship between Lisa and her rumored boyfriend, as Frédéric Arnault’s family is in business and does not want to upset potential markets like China.
On November 8th, Sohu published an article about Lisa breaking up with her boyfriend, accompanied by a picture of a man believed to be Frédéric openly embracing another woman. In fact, the couple in the photo are Jean Arnault (Frédéric’s younger brother) and his girlfriend Zita d’Hauteville.
Previously, Lisa was a rare K-pop star favored in China, even being invited to be a mentor on the popular survival show “Youth With You 2.”
The Weibo accounts of Bvlgari and Céline China, two brands for which Lisa is an ambassador, have removed videos and images related to her. Before that, her Weibo account became inaccessible, and the media speculates that Lisa is being blacklisted.
