According to OSEN’s report on April 25, Samuel has confirmed his comeback for May 9, marking his return with a new album after about a year.
Last April, Samuel dropped his mini album ‘NOW’, which marked his first musical activity in five years. Impressively, he self-produced all the tracks on the album, showcasing his musical prowess. The release received a hot response not only in Korea but also internationally, including in China.
With the one-year break now over, expectations are rising over what kind of music and concept Samuel will bring this time. Fans are already expressing excitement, commenting things like “Can’t wait to see what genre he tackles next” and “I’ve missed his music so much.”

Samuel first gained public recognition in 2017 through Mnet’s survival show ‘Produce 101 Season 2’, and later that year, he made his official solo debut with the album ‘SIXTEEN’. Since then, he has released tracks like ‘Candy’ and ‘ONE (Feat. Jung Il-hoon of BTOB)’, steadily growing into an all-rounder artist who excels in singing, dancing, and producing.
With this comeback breaking his year-long hiatus, fans can expect a meaningful return from Samuel—both musically and personally.
