Sandara Park Remains Silent on Park Bom’s Absence Amid Dating Rumor Controversy
On February 20, 2NE1’s Sandara Park posted a meaningful video on her SNS after finishing her performance in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In the video, Sandara Park, along with fellow members CL and Minzy, interacted live with fans in a car, but Park Bom was absent. Some fans suspected that Park Bom might have been excluded from the appearance due to the controversy surrounding her “self-created dating rumors” with actor Lee Min-ho.
In the video, Sandara Park expressed gratitude, saying, “It’s been a long time since we could return to Ho Chi Minh, and we missed you so much. We were really touched by the warm welcome at the airport. Vietnamese Blackjacks (the fandom name) are the best!” However, there was no mention of Park Bom.
Meanwhile, Park Bom stirred controversy by again referencing her “self-created dating rumors” with Lee Min-ho. On February 20, she posted a selfie on a new SNS account, stating, “Hello, my dear fans. I’m Park Bom. I’m actually alone. Lee Min-ho asked me to post this, but I’m revealing that I am alone. Have a good day.”
Earlier February 19, Park Bom claimed the dating rumors were true, leading to further controversy. Her agency clarified that it was simply fan sentiment and deleted the related posts, but Park Bom continued her SNS activity by opening a new account.
Since last September, Park Bom has referred to Lee Min-ho as her “husband” and claimed they were in a relationship. Recently, she posted photos with Lee Min-ho and answered fans’ questions affirmatively about the rumors.
Lee Min-ho’s agency denied the rumors, stating that there is no personal relationship with Park Bom and that the rumors are baseless, with no further comment on the issue.
Fans expressed frustration with Park Bom’s ongoing SNS controversies, with some requesting that she be excluded from 2NE1’s group activities. 2NE1 is scheduled to hold their “2025 2NE1 Concert [Welcome Back] Encore in Seoul” at the KSPO Dome on April 12-13.
