Sara Burack, a luxury real estate agent known from Netflix’s reality show Million Dollar Beach House, has tragically passed away at the age of 40 following a hit-and-run accident in Hampton Bays, New York.
According to multiple international outlets including The Daily Mail, Burack was found unconscious near Montauk Highway around 3 a.m. (local time) on June 19, close to the Villa Paul restaurant. A passerby noticed her lying on the road and called the police, and when the police arrived, Burack was already seriously injured. She was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital but eventually passed away.

Authorities are currently searching for the vehicle involved, which quickly fled the scene of the accident. After a wide-ranging investigation, Southampton police arrested the suspect, 32-year-old Amanda Kempton.
Kempton has been charged with fleeing the scene of an accident that resulted in death, a Class D felony under New York State law. If convicted, she faces up to four years in prison.

Meanwhile, Burack gained public recognition in 2020 through Netflix, showcasing the competitive world of multimillion-dollar real estate in the Hamptons. She was a respected agent at Nest Seekers International, specializing in luxury home transactions.
Her sudden passing has shocked the real estate and entertainment communities, prompting an outpouring of grief online. Investigations remain ongoing.
