Seo Hyun-jin Reveals Fun Fact About Gong Yoo: “He Only Takes the Mic at Karaoke After Drinking”
On the afternoon of November 20, during the popular tvN variety show You Quiz on the Block, actress Seo Hyun-jin made an appearance as a guest and opened up about her friendship with fellow actor Gong Yoo.
She shared some fun behind-the-scenes details from their time working together, saying, “Actually, we work at the same company, but we only became close while working on this project. Before, we would just greet each other in passing, but we really became friends during the filming of ‘The Trunk.'”
Curious about their dynamic, MC Yoo Jae-suk asked, “So you went to karaoke with Gong Yoo a lot during filming?“
Seo Hyun-jin chuckled and responded, “Whenever there’s a company gathering, we always end up at karaoke. It’s kind of a tradition. Gong Yoo doesn’t really sing much, though. He only sings when he’s drunk, but after a while, we stop asking him to sing.”
She paused before adding with a playful look, “When he’s drunk, he really wants to grab the mic and sing, and that’s when we just let him go for it!” Her teasing remark sparked laughter from the studio, as the audience and fellow hosts couldn’t help but enjoy the light-hearted story about Gong Yoo‘s karaoke habits.
