Seo Hyun-jin Reveals Traditional Korean Music Background: “I Cried Thinking I Couldn’t Dance Anymore”
On November 20, a preview of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” featured Seo Hyun-jin as a guest, engaging in a conversation with Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho.
Seo Hyun-jin, an alumna of both a middle and high school specializing in traditional Korean music, shared, “After transferring from my arts high school to another school, I was invited to a dance performance by my former classmates. I think it was at the Seoul Arts Center. It was my first time watching it as an audience member. That’s when it hit me, ‘I can’t dance anymore.’ I remember crying a lot after that. I even called my friends and asked, ‘Why didn’t you stop me?’”
When Yoo Jae-suk asked how her friends had responded, Seo Hyun-jin recalled, “They told me, ‘You left so quickly, we didn’t even have time to stop you.’” She then laughed and added, “I wonder if it’s okay to talk about this,” teasing viewers about the full broadcast.
After studying dance and becoming the lead vocalist of a music group, Seo Hyun-jin transitioned into acting and has shown more dedication to her craft than anyone else.
