Seo Min-jae Pleads with Boyfriend Amid Pregnancy: “I Want to Die Every Day, But I’m Holding On for the Baby”
Seo Min-jae, now going by the name Seo Eun-woo, has made a public and emotional plea to her boyfriend amidst a pregnancy and an unfolding legal dispute. On May 17, the former Heart Signal 3 star took to social media, expressing distress and urging her ex-boyfriend to respond.
“○○, if you have even the slightest sense of decency, contact me. Are things going well with your school and company? I can’t do anything. I’m sick and struggling,” she wrote.
“I want to die dozens of times a day, but I’m holding on for the baby,” she added, posting a sonogram image.
Timeline and Escalation
Seo first revealed her pregnancy on May 2 with a congratulatory message to the baby’s father and a set of ultrasound and couple photos. She later shared messages showing her urging him not to abandon her. In response, he had initially expressed shock but said he would call and talk.
Soon after, Seo claimed she was sued for stalking, which led to a restraining order.
“Once a report is filed, a restraining order is imposed regardless of whether the charges are valid, so I have to speak through the media,” she explained.
By May 4, Seo claimed the boyfriend, referred to as A, threatened to sue her for stalking and even disclosed his full name, birth year, university, and details about his father.
In response, A’s legal team (Roel Law Firm) denied Seo’s accusations, stating A had been in constant communication, informed his parents, and never tried to avoid responsibility. They alleged Seo began harassing A around April 29, including making dozens of calls, honking outside someone’s home for five minutes, and even physically assaulting A while preventing him from leaving her place.
A’s team stated they saw no choice but to take legal action.
On May 7, Seo shared a statement from her own legal counsel (ON Law Office), stating that all she wants is for A to show responsibility and engage in a sincere conversation as the baby’s father. They claimed Seo and A had been dating since October 2024 with the intention of marriage, but A’s attitude allegedly changed after learning of the pregnancy.
Seo’s lawyer rejected the claims of stalking and false imprisonment, calling them “implausible,” particularly the idea that Seo could have physically restrained A, who is larger and stronger.

Seo Min-jae is no stranger to controversy. After earning degrees in mechanical engineering from Inha University and Hanyang University, she made headlines as Korea’s first female maintenance engineer hired by a major company.
In 2020, she rose to fame on Heart Signal 3, but by 2022, she became embroiled in a drug scandal with then-boyfriend and former WINNER member Nam Tae-hyun. The scandal led to her receiving a suspended 10-month prison sentence in early 2023 for methamphetamine use.
