Seo Ye-ji in Talks for Lead Role in Thriller Drama – Possible Comeback After 3 Years
Actress Seo Ye-ji is reportedly considering a return to acting with the new drama Forest of Humans, marking what could be her first major role in three years.
On May 8, her agency Sublime confirmed that she has received an offer to star in Forest of Humans and is currently reviewing the script.
Forest of Humans is based on a popular thriller webtoon and centers around a chilling premise: a facility housing psychopathic murderers for experimental research goes into lockdown after a catastrophic incident leaves the researchers dead.
If confirmed, this would be Seo Ye-ji’s first leading role since the 2022 tvN drama Eve. Her return to the spotlight comes after a period of hiatus following personal controversies in 2021 that led to a pause in her career.
She has recently begun reappearing in the public eye, with guest spots on SNL Korea and Heo Young Man’s Food Travel. Fans and industry watchers are now closely following whether Seo Ye-ji will make a full comeback as an actress through this intense and high-stakes drama.
