KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama The First Night with the Duke is already capturing hearts and headlines, and Episode 2 is set to raise the bar even higher with Seohyun‘s jaw-dropping visual transformation.

In the upcoming episode airing June 12, viewers will witness Cha Sun-chek (played by Seohyun) evolve from a graceful noblewoman to a hilariously disheveled figure.

Her descent into chaos comes after she, a modern-day college student possessed into a romance novel character, tries to navigate the story discreetly, but her plans go completely off the rails.

After stepping in to protect the female lead, Jo Eun-ae (Kwon Han-sol), from bullying and unexpectedly taking over a high-society gathering with her cocktail-making skills, Sun-chek finds herself in a compromising and comedic position, waking up under the same blanket as male lead Lee Beom (Ok Taecyeon).

Teaser stills show the aftermath: Sun-chek crouched in a field, hanbok stained with dirt, hair a tangled mess, and munching on raw vegetables with a carefree expression. Meanwhile, Lee Beom looks on with unreadable eyes, setting the stage for a unique romantic tension.
