Seol In-ah Reveals Panic Attack Incident and Unexpected Bond with Cha Hak-yeon
Appearing alongside co-star Jung Kyung-ho on the YouTube channel Cheonggye Mountain Records on May 23, actors Seol In-ah and Cha Hak-yeon was asked by host Jo Jung-suk if they had all met for the first time on set. Seol In-ah initially believed they had, but quickly recalled a surprising coincidence involving Cha Hak-yeon.
“It turns out we’d actually met twice before,” Seol said, to which both she and Cha Hak-yeon expressed mutual surprise, laughing, “We only just realized it on the way here today.”

Cha Hak-yeon shared that he once attended a film premiere for a friend, where Seol In-ah happened to be working as an MC for MBC’s “Section TV.” During the event, Seol experienced a severe panic attack right before stepping out to conduct interviews.
“I was supposed to go out, but I collapsed due to a panic attack,” Seol revealed.
“The staff asked if anyone could step in, and Hak-yeon ended up doing the interview in my place.”

Cha added,
“I had just come to watch the movie, and suddenly I was being asked to sit down for an interview. I didn’t meet Seol at the time because she had to be taken to the hospital, but that’s where our story began.”
They also recalled another encounter on a beauty-themed variety show, where Cha once did Seol’s makeup, though both admitted they barely remembered the moment.
Seol In-ah and Cha Hak-yeon now co-star in “Oh My Ghost Clients,” which premieres on May 30, alongside veteran actor Jung Kyung-ho. The drama tells the story of a labor attorney who can see ghosts and tackles bizarre labor disputes in a comic, fantasy-infused narrative.
