After four episodes of “ToGetHer,” South Korea’s first lesbian dating show, Seoyeon (born 1993) has emerged as a standout among the seven contestants. Her stunning looks, approachable personality, and intriguing revelations have won over a large audience.

When the cast was first revealed, Seoyeon sparked curiosity about her identity and profession. Like some other participants, she kept personal details private. According to various sources, she worked as a producer and planner (PD) for Studio Choom, a Korean YouTube channel featuring K-pop artists’ dance performances, for four years before joining the show.

In the latest episode of “ToGetHer,” Seoyeon shocked viewers by disclosing that she currently owns a shop selling adult toys for women. She shared her philosophy, “Women are not objects to provide sexual pleasure but subjects who deserve to enjoy it.”

Seoyeon has over 28,000 followers on her personal Instagram, where she mostly posts everyday moments, like hanging out with friends or traveling. She typically favors casual outfits—shirts, t-shirts, or simple knits—and wears her long hair straight. However, her lightly curled hairstyle on the show has earned plenty of compliments.

In this dating show, Seoyeon and the other contestants interact and get to know each other to find a compatible match by the end. Currently, she’s most popularly “shipped” with Dagyo. The two share a strong connection and click well in conversations. In episode 3, Seoyeon wrote a letter to Dagyo, noting their many similarities. Her pairing with Dagyo trends under #SeoGyo, with clips of their episode 3 letter exchange going viral.

“ToGetHer” is South Korea’s first lesbian dating reality show, premiered on April 25, 2025, on Wavve and Rakuten TV, marking a milestone in LGBTQ+ representation in a country with historically conservative views on same-sex relationships. The show features seven women: Mirang, Dagyo, Jinah, Seoyeon, Riwon, Heeyoung, and Hangyul, living together in a Jeju Island house, forming connections through activities like dates and anonymous love notes, without initially sharing personal details like age or occupation.
