‘Seungri’s rumored girlfriend’ Yoo Hye-won Reveals Her Marriage Condition “My Husband Must Accept Giving 3 Million KRW Monthly to My Family”

On the February 12th episode of Mnet’s entertainment program “Couple Palace 2”, the backgrounds and professions of 60 single men and women seeking marriage were revealed. During the episode, contestant Yoo Hye-won disclosed her personal condition for marriage.

She wrote, “My husband must understand if I send 3 million KRW per month to my family.” At the time, her face and name were not yet revealed, leading male participants to react with hesitation, “That’s too much” or “I’m just starting my career.” Many quickly withdrew their interest.

However, once Yoo Hye-won’s identity was revealed, the atmosphere shifted. It was disclosed that she works as a beauty model, earns an annual income of around 150 million KRW and has assets worth 200 million KRW. With her stunning visuals, she immediately captivated the contestants’ attention.

Some men who had initially backed out changed their minds, saying, “3 million KRW is nothing for someone like her.” As a result, Yoo Hye-won received the most picks and ranked first among female contestants. Explaining her marriage condition, she said, “I’m the eldest daughter, so I’ve been supporting my family.“

Yoo Hye-won revealed that she has been working hard as a model since she was 23 years old and has been in the industry for about 5~6 years. She shared, “My mother always told me, ‘Hye-won, you must succeed and make me happy.’” She also revealed that her family consists of just three people—herself, her mother and her younger sister.

She continued, “Since my father isn’t around, I’ve been trying to take on his role as much as possible—I’m a typical K-eldest daughter.” She even paid for her younger sister’s university tuition herself. She confessed, “I saved my first 10 million KRW at 23. When my mom asked for it, I gave her everything.”

Reflecting on her struggles, she admitted, “I thought it was natural, but as I entered my late 20s, I started wondering, ‘What about me?’” She also shared that she had expected to marry early in search of a stable life. “Maybe I wanted to escape from being the family breadwinner, but meeting a good person is also one of my dreams.”

During the episode, other contestants hinted at her past dating rumors, referring to her as “XX’s ex-girlfriend“. Addressing this, Yoo Hye-won said, “I don’t even know if I should be here. Those dating rumors keep following me like a label. I just want to meet a good person and move forward.”

Previously, Yoo Hye-won appeared on the February 5th broadcast of “Couple Palace 2”, arousing attention from the moment she showed up. Numerous female cast in the women’s waiting room recognized Yoo Hye-won right away and they all looked very surprised. Some reacted, “I saw no one but her”, “I kept looking at her because she’s so pretty”, “Is that really her?”, etc.

Dressed in a white dress, Yoo Hye-won stole the spotlight with her appearance. Explaining her decision, Yoo Hye-won said, “Everyone is so stunning, but since I’m a careful person and I think I need to observe them one by one, so that’s why I couldn’t pick one out”.

Regarding her conditions for marriage, Yoo Hye-won said, “I live with my mother and a younger sibling. My condition for marriage is that the partner does not interfere with how I support my family”, introducing her family background. She added, “I have a sad childhood memory of not being able to eat what I wanted. That’s also the reason I’m working hard”.

On the show, she frankly talked about her past. She hesitated for a moment then said, “I dated a bad guy, and also a very popular guy”. Yoo Hye-won was once said to have been dating former BIG BANG member Seungri and basketball player Heo Woong, but she denied both rumors.

Expressing her feelings about marriage, the female model shared, “The dream and goal of my life are to marry a good man rather than a bad guy or a popular guy”. Regarding herself, she said, “I’ve been busy working all my life so I believe that I can be a really reliable partner to the other person”.
