On June 25th, Pledis Entertainment’s boy group SEVENTEEN opened ticket sales for their 8th fan meeting event – SEVENTEEN in Carat Land 2024. Many fans were astonished by the arduous journey of securing tickets to meet the 13 members. The event will be held in Korea on July 23-24.
As the most anticipated event of the year for the group, Carat Land is a dream for many SEVENTEEN hardcore fans. Although it’s just a fan meeting, this year’s Carat Land will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome, with a capacity of up to 16,000 people, spanning two days. The scale of SEVENTEEN’s fan meeting is even larger than the concerts of many famous groups.

Immediately after the ticket sales opened, more than 2 million people were waiting to “hunt for tickets” to SEVENTEEN’s fan meeting. It was a real frenzy, with fans competing for every second. Many Vietnamese fans also participated in this “survival” battle, but not everyone succeeded. Carat Land tickets sold out in minutes, proving the immense purchasing power of SEVENTEEN’s fandom.
Unable to get official tickets, many fans turned to resales. On the night of June 25th, some tickets were resold for over 300 million VND. This staggering amount left many Carats (SEVENTEEN fans) in shock. Still, there are fans willing to spend the money to experience SEVENTEEN’s fan meeting.

Compared to the group’s concerts, fan meetings offer many unique “skits” specifically for fans that not everyone can experience. Thus, even with a two-night event estimated to attract up to 32,000 people, it is never enough due to the enormous demand from fans.
Having been active for nearly 10 years, SEVENTEEN’s popularity hasn’t waned but has only grown. The group’s fanbase increases with each comeback, thanks to the effort, passion, and hard work of the 13 members. With fame comes negative rumors, and SEVENTEEN has continuously faced “slander” from anti-fans.

Recent controversies involving HYBE’s artists have dragged SEVENTEEN into undeserved scandals. Despite leading in album sales and expanding their influence through concert tours, SEVENTEEN has been accused of “fake popular.” Anti-fans have made baseless claims denying the group’s impact.
SEVENTEEN’s most powerful response to these accusations is their actual achievements. Recently, the 13 members celebrated their 9th anniversary with two historic concerts at Japan’s largest stadium, Nissan Stadium, drawing a record-breaking 144,000 attendees.
The Asia Follow tour, spanning over half a year, is estimated to have brought in over $100 million, solely within one continent. Among the third-generation groups, SEVENTEEN is currently the most successful in maintaining a long-term presence. The fact that more than 2 million people lined up to buy fan meeting tickets is enough to dispel the “pretending to be popular” rumors fabricated by anti-fans.
