In Episode 8 of LG U+ Mobile TV’s dating reality show “Rainbow 7+,” which aired on February 7, a new contestant arrived, increasing the total number of singles to ten. As the competition intensified, the participants prepared to vote for the 4th King and 4th Queen, setting the stage for shifting alliances and unexpected drama.
One of the biggest surprises came from Yuna, the reigning 3rd Queen. During her date with Ian, she shocked everyone by requesting a partner change. While her chosen partner couldn’t hide his excitement, another contestant, frustrated by her decision, muttered, “This is so annoying,” later vowing to change his mind about her. Yuna, however, was thrilled about her new match, confessing, “I got a note from him and couldn’t stop thinking about it.” She even planned to share a room with him back at the Queen’s Dormitory, escalating the tension in the house.

Meanwhile, 3rd King Seunghoon spent his date with Marina, which quickly took a dramatic turn. Marina stirred controversy by criticizing fellow contestants Yuna, Mao, and Niko, calling them “fake” and “not genuine.” Her blunt honesty had already sparked discussion back in Episode 6, when, during a daring card game, she made a bold 19+ remark about relationship satisfaction. The provocative conversation had led fellow contestants to joke, “I think we’re making the show too hot!” and “It’s because we’re in Thailand!”
Despite Marina’s criticisms, Seunghoon remained composed, suggesting, “Maybe it’s just a cultural difference” and “Perhaps that’s just their personality.” His calm and understanding approach reinforced his reputation as a three-time consecutive King.

Flashback to Episode 6, the singles had already faced surprising developments with the arrival of the second “New Citizen” following Ian’s entrance. During a tense round of questioning, the newcomer dodged inquiries with a repeated “I don’t know~,” leaving the other contestants uneasy. “This could shake things up,” some murmured, sensing an impending shift in group dynamics.
The vote for the 3rd King and Queen soon followed, shocking and confusing the participants with unexpected results. One of the most affected was Yuna, whose relationship with Niko had grown increasingly complicated. Niko’s straightforward pursuit of her had become suffocating, and when she expressed interest in dating someone else, his reaction was childlike sulking. Frustrated, Yuna confided to the production team, “He’s acting like a kid. I’m disappointed. It’s hard.”

After much deliberation, Yuna made a decisive move, telling Niko, “I want to try dating someone else.” His intense reaction left the contestants wondering—was this the end of their love line, or would their emotions take another turn?
