tvN confirmed the launch of Season 2, titled The Second Signal

On the 5th March, tvN stated, “The drama Signal, which received immense love from viewers, will return with season 2. We are officially beginning production with the goal of airing it in the first half of next year to mark tvN’s 20th anniversary.”

The upcoming tvN drama Signal (written by Kim Eun-hee, directed by Ahn Tae-jin, planned by Studio Dragon, and produced by Baram Pictures and BA Entertainment), set to air in the first half of next year, will feature all the main cast members from Season 1.

At the “CJ ENM Content Talk 2025” event held on February 10 at CJ ENM in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Park Sang-hyuk, head of the Channel Business Division at CJ ENM’s Media Business Division, officially announced the production and scheduling of “Signal” Season 2.

Through a video message, actress Kim Hye-soo shared, “Both the cast and production team are doing their utmost during filming. Please show lots of love and anticipation for the new ‘Signal’.

Production company BA Entertainment has been working on Season 2 for a long time with writer Kim Eun-hee, and the timing of its release coinciding with tvN’s 20th anniversary in 2026 makes it even more significant.

Premiering in 2016, “Signal” Season 1 starred Lee Je-hoon, Kim Hye-soo and Cho Jin-woong, captivating viewers with its gripping narrative and the cast’s stellar performances.
