On June 6, a video titled “‘Big Bros Who Make You Bow Your Head’ | It’s True That We’re Here to Promote ‘Mercy for None'” was released on Netflix Korea’s official YouTube channel. So Ji Sub and Jo Han Chul, stars of Netflix’s series “Mercy for None”, appeared and had a cheerful conversation with hosts Jonathan and Yoo Byung Jae in a movie club-themed segment.

During the video, So Ji Sub talked about his past as a rapper and said, “Not long ago, my agency mate Ok Taecyeon made a song. So Taecyeon, me and Cha Hakyeon (VIXX’s N) performed in Japan under the name ‘SoOkCha’.”

When Yoo Byung Jae asked “I’ve always been curious about when and how Ji Sub fell in love with rap”, So Ji Sub opened up sincerely about his feelings toward his fans.

He said, “Of course, I started rapping because I liked it. But I’m tone-deaf. When I had the chance to meet fans, I wanted to sing for them, so I began writing songs. I’m not good at it, but I wanted to share music with fans. I only write new songs when there’s a fan event.”
