On “Yoo In Radio”, Son Seok-gu shared his thoughts on relationships, revealing his ideal romance roles, personal dating values, and signs of fading love while expressing excitement for his upcoming drama “Heavenly Ever After” (previously known as “More Beautiful Than Heaven”.)
He revealed, “I’ve been taking acting classes and working hard to show my growth,” and expressed excitement about his upcoming romance drama, “Heavenly Ever After”.

Talking about iconic romance film characters, Son Seok-gu mentioned that he would love to take on Jim Carrey’s role in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, saying, “I watched the movie without knowing the full story. It made me wonder – how intense must their love have been for them to want to erase their memories?”
Discussing relationships, Yoo In-na noted, “Even if a conversation with Son Seok-gu gets interrupted, it still feels comfortable,” to which the actor responded, “I like people I can feel that way with too. I’m the type who finds silences uncomfortable, so I tend to talk more to fill the gaps.”

Regarding his dating style, the actor shared, “I don’t expect gifts from my partner, but if they want one, I’ll gladly give it. What matters more to me than material things is sharing a good meal together.”

On recognizing fading love, he stated, “Losing excitement, no longer feeling curious about your partner, or spending less time together can all be signals. But for me, the biggest sign is when you start being interested in someone else. When you’re truly in love, no one else catches your eye.” He also emphasized a positive mindset in relationships, saying, “When things shift in a relationship, it’s important to try to see it in a positive light. It could simply be another stage leading to something better.”
Meanwhile, Son Seok-gu is set to return in the upcoming K-drama “Heavenly Ever After”, which recently drew attention with a shocking 42-year age gap between the main couple.
