Son Ye-jin Attends Public Event to Support Her Husband Hyun Bin’s New Film “Harbin”

On December 19, Son Ye-jin attended the VIP premiere of “Harbin” (directed by Woo Min-ho) held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul.
Dressed in a black coat, white T-shirt, and jeans, Son Ye-jin lit up the photo wall with an unusually bright smile, capturing the attention of the media. She went the extra mile to support her husband by holding a promotional placard featuring the movie’s title and striking various poses, including heart gestures, to cheer him on.

“Harbin” is a suspenseful drama set in 1909, revolving around the tense chase and mistrust between those heading to Harbin with a singular purpose and those pursuing them. Hyun Bin stars as freedom fighter Ahn Jung-geun, delivering a dedicated and intense performance.
During promotional interviews for “Harbin,” Hyun Bin expressed his gratitude and apologies to his wife, Son Ye-jin. Reflecting on the challenging filming process, he revealed, “It was mentally taxing, and since I was constantly on set, I think my wife must have felt lonely.”

He added, “She knew all too well how demanding this project was. After it was over, her words, ‘You worked hard. Great job,’ gave me immense strength. Despite her own struggles, the way she expressed her support was deeply touching.”
Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin developed a romantic relationship after co-starring in the movie “The Negotiation” and the drama “Crash Landing on You.” The couple tied the knot in March 2022 and have one son together.
Meanwhile, “Harbin” is set to be released on December 24.
