Public Interest Grows Around Song Da-eun Amid Renewed Dating Rumors with BTS Jimin

Actress Song Da-eun is once again at the center of public attention following renewed dating rumors with BTS member Jimin, reigniting online buzz and prompting a wave of speculation. The dating suspicions, which first surfaced in 2022, recently returned to the spotlight after Song posted a video on social media. The clip featured a man who many netizens believe resembles Jimin, leading to a surge of curiosity and debate. In response, BigHit Music has stated that they are “currently verifying the facts” regarding the matter.

Song Da-eun rose to fame through Channel A’s Heart Signal 2 in 2018 and has since built a steady acting career. Her filmography includes appearances in tvN’s Mothers and KBS2’s Once Again in 2020, as well as Olive’s Dear My Room and the web drama Wednesday 3:30 PM.
This isn’t the first time Song has dealt with harsh public scrutiny. In the past, she faced malicious comments and legal battles tied to both the dating rumors and her acquaintance with former BIGBANG member Seungri, which led to unfounded links to the “Burning Sun” scandal.
Addressing the accusations, Song firmly denied any involvement: “Burning Sun? Escort girl? Fake news? That’s not me. Don’t just see what you want to see and spread what you want to spread,” she stated.

In April, she also revealed she was pursuing legal action against those sending her defamatory messages: “You send me insulting emails? It actually makes identification easier. I’m more thankful for that.” Regarding her connection to Jimin, she previously commented: “Just a fan? Me? Whose fandom I’m in or not in, that’s none of my business. I just don’t want to be cursed at and painted as some weird person with baseless talk.”
As of now, no confirmation has been made regarding the identity of the man in Song’s latest video. Still, the renewed spotlight has once again thrust her into a high-pressure public narrative that continues to blur the line between private life and public speculation.
