Song Hye-kyo Explains Her Nervousness On First Variety Show After 23 Years
tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” broadcast on January 8th featured the appearance of actress Song Hye-kyo, who decided to show up on a talk show for the first time after 23 years.
Regarding her appearance, the actress shared, “It’s been a while since the last time I appeared on a variety show. I’m so honored to be able to meet everyone in the new year”.
Song Hye-kyo confessed, “I’m very nervous right now. I wouldn’t have been this worried if I had appeared on variety shows several times. It’s been such a long time since I did something like this, so I’m worried whether my appearance would be interesting enough”, adding “I’m also worried whether my talk would be fun. I do want my appearance to be interesting”.
She added, “I watched a lot of previous episodes. When I do things in the morning and turn on the TV, I always see ‘You Quiz’”.
Jo Se-ho said, “I’m close to Shin Hyun-ji and she asked me to take care of you and promised that this episode would be very interesting”. Hearing that, Song Hye-kyo honestly confessed, “I guess I’m not a person who is not greedy about being funny”.
The actress said, “People around me often say things like, ‘Others should know how funny this person is’. To be honest, I’ve never thought I’m a funny person. I respond to all situations in a serious and appropriate way, but my friends think I’m funny”
