Recently, Song Hye-kyo went viral on Weibo Hot Search by revealing a story about the production of the drama “Autumn In My Heart”. In particular, the actress unveiled that the main cast, including Won Bin, Song Seung-hun and her, was too busy with filming schedules that they couldn’t even take a shower for 3 days straight.
Seeing their untidied appearances, the director eventually let them rest. When Song Hye-kyo visited a public restroom, an old woman recognized her and shouted, “Joon-suh, please don’t die”. Joon-suh was Song Hye-kyo’s character in the drama.
Although Song Hye-kyo recalled the story as a funny memory, fans believe that it clearly proves the enormous efforts that the actress and the whole production team poured into making such an amazing drama.
After its release, “Autumn In My Heart” became a hit drama in Asia and received lots of prestigious awards alongside its record-breaking ratings (38.6% on average, peak 46.1%). Thanks to the huge success of “Autumn In My Heart”, Song Hye-kyo took her first step to become one of the top Korean actresses.
