Song Hye-kyo’s Hilarious Reaction to Hypothetical Photo Request in Public Bath

On the January 22 episode of the podcast “Song Eun-yi and Kim Sook’s Secret Guarantee”, Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin, stars of the film “Dark Nuns”, made an appearance.

Kim Sook expressed her admiration to Song Hye-kyo, who appeared because of her relationship with Song Eun-yi, “If you haven’t seen someone for 20 years, they’re practically a stranger, but you came out saying you keep your loyalty.” Song Hye-kyo, who last met Song Eun-yi in her early 20s, responded, “I’ve kept hearing news about her through mutual acquaintances.” She fondly recalled, “Song Eun-yi taught me how to drink. Right after I graduated high school and turned 20, she handed me a beer and told me I should learn to drink with adults.”
Kim Sook humorously remarked, “Consider yourself lucky you didn’t learn more from Song Eun-yi. Her drinking habits are something else. If you’d picked that up, you wouldn’t have had a career.” Laughing, Song Hye-kyo asked, “Did you go through a rough time, sis?”
Song Hye-kyo shared that people often called her “Bro” or “Boss”, attributing it to her boldness when she was younger. Song Eun-yi agreed, “She had no fear. She didn’t overthink anything and would just say, ‘I’ll try it.’” Song Hye-kyo explained, “I think the nicknames came from people saying, ‘Look at this young girl doing her thing.’ But now, the people I spend time with don’t call me that. I’m much quieter these days.”
Song Eun-yi reminisced about working with Song Hye-kyo on the sitcom “How Am I?”, saying, “Back then, Hye-kyo was also filming Soonpoong Clinic. She managed both sitcoms with heavy dialogue and barely ever made mistakes. The only NGs were by Jung Sang-hoon.”

Song Hye-kyo admitted, “I think being young helped. Back then, I could memorize lines after just one or two readings.” When Song Eun-yi praised her flawless performance, Song Hye-kyo responded modestly, “You didn’t make mistakes either.” Song Eun-yi joked, “That’s because I didn’t have many lines.”
Another memory involved a trip to a swimming pool in Gyeonggi Province with Cho Yeo-jeong, with Song Eun-yi recalling how the three had fun together. They also attended Cho Yeo-jeong’s high school graduation, and Song Hye-kyo reminisced about visiting Cho Yeo-jeong’s home and sharing meals.
Kim Sook remarked on their close bond, prompting Song Hye-kyo to reveal, “Back then, we were practically living together every day.” Song Eun-yi added, “I even hosted her first fan meeting. She gave me a luxury wallet stuffed with new bills as a gift.” Song Hye-kyo said, “I think I gave it hoping she’d make more money.”
When the topic shifted to public baths, Song Hye-kyo admitted, “I don’t usually go in Seoul, but I do when I’m filming in the countryside. I cover my face with a towel because I feel shy, not because I mind being recognized.”
Kim Sook playfully enacted a scenario, saying, “Let’s take a photo, Song Hye-kyo. Just your face!” Song Hye-kyo responded, “I’ll dip into the bath and just stick my face out for the photo.” This prompted Kim Sook to quip “Your fan service is top-notch”, causing laughter.
