K-dramas scheduled to be released in 2024 are already garnering high expectations due to their star-studded cast.
On January 31 of last month, tvN revealed the script reading scene for “Queen of Tears”, which features Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun) and Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won).
In the drama, Hong Hae-in is the 3rd-generation heir of the Queens group conglomerate and director of Queens Department Store, while Baek Hyun-woo is a lawyer who came from a humble beginning.
The two characters, living in different worlds, will meet, understand each other, and become close, conveying various emotions such as joy, excitement, excitement, and tension.
Regarding “Queens of Tears”, Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won expressed that they had a great time working together with other co-stars. They also asked for a lot of interest and love for the K-drama, which will premiere on tvN on March 16.
“When Life Gives You Tangerines” is set against the backdrop of Jeju Island. It is scheduled to depict the adventurous life of Ae-soon (played by IU), a remarkable rebel born in 1950s Jeju, and the “unyielding iron” Gwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum) throughout the four seasons.
Alongside IU and Park Bo-gum, the 16-episode series “When Life Gives You Tangerines” also features Na Moon-hee, Yeom Hye-ran, Oh Jung-se, Lee Jun-young, and others. Kim Seon-ho will also make a special appearance, raising expectations.
It was reported that “When Life Gives You Tangerines”, which began filming in March of last year, will finish filming within this month. In addition, many speculate that it will be released within this year.
