Seohyun Spills Girls’ Generation Private Chatroom Tea: Including Sunny, Who Just Joined Uncle Lee Soo-man’s New Agency
Girls’ Generation member Sunny has officially joined her uncle Lee Soo-man’s newly founded agency A2O Entertainment, marking a fresh chapter in her career and sparking hilarious reactions from her fellow SNSD members.

In a new episode of Hyeri’s YouTube series Hyell’s Club on May 2, Seohyun offered fans an inside look at the group’s close-knit dynamics, including their reaction to Sunny’s unexpected move.
Group Chat Chaos: “Why So Sneaky?”
Seohyun revealed that the Girls’ Generation members had recently agreed to drop honorifics and speak more casually with each other after years of formality. “Since we couldn’t meet face-to-face, I started speaking informally with the ones I message individually. Step by step. Step by step, now nearly about… I’m halfway there,” she said with a smile.

Seohyun noted she’s already speaking informally with Hyoyeon, Yuri, Tiffany, and Sooyoung. However, when she tried to casually message Sunny, she got a humorous response: “Why are you subtly speaking formally again?” Seohyun replied with a playful “Algesseong~ (Got it~),” earning laughs on set.
The moment offered a rare glimpse into their enduring bond and how they continue to support—and tease—each other years after their debut.
Sunny’s New Start Under Her Famous Uncle
Meanwhile, Sunny’s decision to sign with A2O Entertainment, the new company established by her uncle Lee Soo-man after his departure from SM Entertainment, has made headlines. Having left SM in August 2023 following the expiration of her contract, Sunny is now reported to be training in music production under veteran producer Yoo Young-jin.

A2O Entertainment is Lee Soo-man’s next major venture after selling his 14.8% stake in SM Entertainment to HYBE in 2023. The label released a behind-the-scenes video titled “A2O Summer Training Camp 2024 Highlights” on April 7, featuring Sunny monitoring vocal sessions—indicating her new role behind the scenes.
Though Sunny’s move to her uncle’s company was low-key, it didn’t go unnoticed by her Girls’ Generation members, who reportedly poked fun at her for making the jump quietly. The reaction, however, was all in good humor, reflecting the group’s lasting camaraderie.

As Sunny takes on a new challenge in production, fans are eager to see how she’ll evolve—and whether her next creative steps will feature any collaborations with her longtime bandmates.
