Suzy & Lee Jin-wook, Stunning Chemistry in ‘Seven O’Clock Breakfast Meeting for Broken-Hearted People’ Set for Fall Release

The movie “Seven O’Clock Breakfast Meeting for Broken-Hearted People,” starring Suzy and Lee Jin-wook, has officially wrapped filming. Directed by Lim Sun-ae, the film is based on Baek Young-ok’s novel of the same name, published in 2012.
The story follows Sa-gang (Suzy) and Ji-hoon (Lee Jin-wook), who come together for a breakfast meeting with their own personal stories. They exchange their “breakup souvenirs” while sharing their stories and dealing with the pain of their respective breakups.

Filming began in late December last year and wrapped after about three months. Fans are eagerly anticipating how the movie will capture the deep emotions of love and heartbreak, particularly with Suzy, Lee Jin-wook, Yoo Ji-tae, and Keum Sae-rok bringing realistic portrayals of love and breakup into the winter ambiance.
In this film, Suzy plays the role of Sa-gang, a woman who delicately navigates her love and breakup with airline captain Jeong-su (Yoo Ji-tae), delivering a performance full of depth.

She expressed her gratitude, saying, “It was a happy filming experience to be able to work with such great directors and actors. I remembered enjoying the original novel, and watching the movie adaptation process felt like a strange but fulfilling experience. Just like how I found comfort while playing Sa-gang, I hope the audience can also find warmth and comfort through this film.”
Lee Jin-wook, who plays Ji-hoon, a consultant instructor, shows his mastery of romance with a heavy and profound portrayal of the realistic love and breakup between long-time couple Ji-hoon and Hyeon-jeong (Geum Sae-rok).

He shared, “I’m happy we finished filming, though I feel a bit of regret. I gained a lot of positive energy from working with great actors. I tried to express the various emotions of a breakup through Ji-hoon, and I hope the audience can feel warmth and empathy from watching this movie.”
Lastly, director Lim Sun-ae, known for her delicate direction in films such as “An Old Lady” and “Ms. Apocalypse,” expressed, “Thanks to the efforts of the talented staff and actors, we were able to finish filming successfully. I’ll work hard on the post-production to make sure this becomes a great film for the audience to enjoy.”
“Seven O’Clock Breakfast Meeting for Broken-Hearted People” is slated for a winter theater release in the second half of this year and is currently in post-production.
