According to a legal action update from THE BOYZ’s fan community on March 10, fans have organized a protest featuring both a truck display and wreaths outside ONE HUNDRED’s headquarters. This protest, coordinated with the local police, was designed to raise awareness of ongoing concerns. The fans noted that personal wreaths would also be accepted in the afternoon, further emphasizing their demand for attention. Some of the wreaths featured strong, attention-grabbing messages, reflecting the fans’ dissatisfaction as the group prepares for their highly anticipated comeback.

The fans explained, “ONE HUNDRED may have lifted its boycott against KBS, but the boycott of SBS ‘Inkigayo’ remains unresolved. The frustration among fans persists, given the damage caused by the agency’s opaque and emotionally charged responses.”

They further stated, “While THE BOYZ has no direct involvement in these matters, they have been caught up in unnecessary boycotts, which have hindered their smooth comeback process. We hold the agency accountable for its mismanagement and will continue to send a clear message to prevent any further harm.”

The controversy began when ONE HUNDRED accused external pressures following SM Entertainment’s collaboration with KBS, which led to the cancellation of INB100 artist Xiumin’s appearance on ‘Music Bank.‘ In response, ONE HUNDRED initiated a ‘KBS boycott,’ temporarily halting the KBS appearances of Big Planet Made Entertainment artists, such as TV personality Lee Soo-geun and singer Lee Mu-jin.

KBS quickly denied these claims, with Han Kyung-cheon, the head of KBS’s entertainment division, explaining at a 2025 Spring Awards Program briefing on March 7 that the issue stemmed from communication problems between the production team and the agency. He also expressed optimism, stating that better opportunities would arise with time and improved communication. ONE HUNDRED later indicated their trust in Han’s comments, retracting the suspension of Lee Soo-geun and Lee Mu-jin’s recordings.

However, regarding Xiumin’s appearance on “Music Bank,” ONE HUNDRED has only received an unofficial response from KBS and is still awaiting an official stance.

Meanwhile, THE BOYZ is gearing up for the release of their third studio album, “Unexpected,” on March 17. This marks their first album under ONE HUNDRED, following their departure from IST Entertainment in November. The release is made even more significant by member Sangyeon’s planned enlistment on the same day.
