In the video, Sunwoo can be heard shouting “AirPods!” as he enters the elevator. A nearby security guard, who had picked up the dropped AirPods, handed them to Sunwoo, who accepted them with one hand. Some viewers interpreted his body language and lack of a bow as rude, sparking criticism.

I didn’t bow, but I verbally thanked [the guard]. I acknowledge how my actions looked in the video. But I always thank staff who hold doors or help me.” He continued, “I also consistently greet cleaning staff politely wherever I go.”
He further added, “I can’t explain every little thing forever, but I’ll reflect on what seemed like my mistake. To avoid misunderstandings, I’ll make sure to bow when expressing gratitude moving forward.”
